end-feed shuttle

How the parade shuttle works:
It has a bobbin that stays fixed, instead of a spool that spins freely on its axis. The weft thread unwinds when the shuttle is moving, and stops unwinding when the shuttle stops. The thread passes through a set of tension studs and exits the shuttle with constant tension. This avoids jolts and allows a sharper edge to be obtained.
